Copper and Stainless Hood

Here is a hood we just finished and installed in conjunction with Colonial Metalcrafts.  They supplied polished copper panels for the stainless frame we built.

Dixie Donuts Signage

Start to finish process for Dixie Donuts 3D signage:

We started with billet EPS (foam), joined and shaped it, and coated it with Dryvit (polymer stucco).

The outline of the Donut

2 halves of the donut after a little bit of shaping

The 2 halves being joined by steel inserts and foam adhesive.

First patch coats of Dryvit base coat. You can still see where the through bolted couplers have been covered with foam again.

After the base coat has been applied

First coat of elastomeric paint on the finished donut.

Final product installed. We also did the lettering signage.

A cookbook stand I made a few years back has been repurposed in the kitchen. Now it holds an iPad which is cookbook, music, and much more.

One of my favorite projects of the last year. A simple bar foot rail forged and twisted with machine style legs. The first photo is my original sketch for the legs and the final product. Final pictures when the restaurant is open for business.
